Greatly enjoyed our time here. Our junior suite was elegant, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location was good, around 10-15 minutes walk from Town Square. You could walk to the main shopping centre and shops.

It boasts incredible, beautiful location very close to the tropical gardens in Monte, the beautiful island and downtown. Sao Pedro district deserves your attention. At the poolside bar they serve well presented food and drinks. I would have stayed for longer and can just recommend this hotel to everyone.

Wonderful old, reasonably clean place with service-minded and very efficient staff in all areas. The rooms with a separate balcony upstairs, great view, for instance. So many outstanding options for breakfast, such as pancakes and eggs. Stunning, magnificent location in Funchal, just off the bistro and restaurant, really special gardens which provide a fabulous calm and relaxing environment, and the tourist area. Again, walking distance to a large castle.

Ideal base for discovering Funchal with amazingly kind and always pleasant staff in all areas. Amazing and beautiful location by the sea with views to the hills and down to the sea. And just next door to the old town, and the centre of town.

It was spotless and peaceful place, big size rooms. There were pastries, eggs and pancakes for breakfast. The restaurant was small with Haute cuisine and a la carte menu here, I had excellent dishes. Exceptionally kind and always pleasant staff in all areas and the pool area was nice.
